One of my objectives is to have my kids walk into high school outplaying and knowing more than their peers coming from other schools.

A few days back, I pulled most of my librarians and student conductors and taught them score order, score reading, instrument transposition, circle of 5ths and a few other things.

They all walked away kinda geeked now that they understood more of what I'm doing while I'm up front (imagine...they thought I was just waving my arms around and yelling at them for playing wrong notes!).

I'm 'piloting' this little music academy thing with this group. I may make it mandatory for all of my kids next year. Better trained musicians make better musicians..... I think.

Thoughts ?

Everybody believes *something* about God. That's all theology is. The question is...is what you believe about God TRUE?

I pray I've taught someone to be a better person.
